When I click on a web page to send an email, I get a problem - normally I can send an email OK.

Your browser (Internet Explorer for example) needs to know what to do when you try to send an email.  If you are using a web-based email account like Hotmail, you can be using email by going on-line, and not having an email client on your computer

Check the configuration of your browser to see if you have an email client set up - on Internet Explorer, Tools menu, Internet Options, Programs Tab, Email …

If you use a web-based email service like Hotmail, try this to set up your Outlook Express:

1. Open Outlook Express
2. From 'Tools' menu, select 'Accounts'
3. Select the 'Mail' tab.  If you see no entries here your Outlook Express has not been configured to handle your email.
4. Press the 'Add' button and select 'mail'
5. Answer the questions the Wizard poses
6. When it asks you for Email Server Names,
7. 'My Incoming Mail Server is a' - select HTTP
8. 'My HTTP mail service provider is' - select Hotmail
 - You should have something like http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp show up
9. Finish the wizard and try to get your email using Outlook Express.  You should also be able to create an email whilst off-line then whenever you want you can connect and send it.

If this works, then your email should work from a web page!
